A week does not go by where we do not find ourselves talking about a team member, colleague, friend or family member who may be struggling with their mental health and wellbeing. As a country, we are immersed in a pandemic. The result of which has highlighted tough times for our people, we have a lot to get through with our work and home life commitments. For many of us work is a major part of our lives. It is where we spend a lot of our time. At KCS, we fully support our duty of care responsibility to all of our employees in relation to their mental wellbeing. As a Leadership team in the UK business, we continuously work towards ensuring we do the best for our people. Being in a pandemic does not stop this, yes, it might make it more difficult to directly impact everyone but our message of supporting our people is as important as it was before, if not more so. We will be taking up the “Move for Mind 30 day challenge”. The charity Mind has many ways in which they can provide support to those suffering with a mental health problem. As a team, we are getting behind this fantastic charity and volunteering our time to promote the importance of getting active and of course hoping to raise some money along the way! Mind will not give up until everyone experiencing a mental health problem, gets support and respect. KCS fully support this mantra.
